The Residence
Built in 2008, this contemporary, 300 sqm luxury residence is certain to delight even the most discriminating of Members. Four super king ensuite bedrooms come complete with underfloor heating throughout, and each has uninterrupted views of the golf course or beautifully landscaped gardens. With a huge indoor and exterior entertaining area, the home can comfortably accommodate up to eight guests. The residence is fully automated with a state-of-the-art automation system, allowing for ease of use and minimal gadgetry.
The Experience
The Residence sits comfortably overlooking the 3rd green of New Zealand’s only Jack Nicklaus Signature Course, The Kinloch Club. Travel and Leisure Golf rated Kinloch the top new course outside North America for 2007. The Wairakei International course is only a 15 minute drive and rated in the top 100 outside the US - (US Golf Digest 2005), and the mighty Cape Kidnappers (ranked 27th in the world - Golf Magazine 2005) is only 30 minutes away by helicopter.
The surrounding area offers the best of what New Zealand has to offer: world class golf literally on your door step, internationally acclaimed trout fishing and outstanding tramping in the Tongariro National Park. Alternative outdoor activities include some of New Zealand’s best skiing on the active volcano, Mount Ruapehu. Access to a private award-winning chef is available on request for evening meals and/or cooking classes. Geothermal activity and Maori culture is also abundant in the region, making this residence a fantastic destination to base yourself.
*An exchange property is made available to Markers' members through a formal reciprocity agreement with another organization of similar standards, allowing members the opportunity to enjoy new destinations at no additional cost and give input to Club management as to whether they would like to see these destinations permanently added to The Markers portfolio.
