DURING THE DAY
Flagstaff Ranch has some very impressive neighbors. With its location in Northern Arizona, you’re just a short drive from the Grand Canyon, Sedona, Lake Powell and Oak Creek Canyon, which are among the world’s most famous scenic spots.

If adventure calls you, Northern Arizona offers almost every conceivable outdoor activity, including river rafting, swimming, boating, mountain biking, horseback riding, hiking, fishing and camping. In the winter, skiing, sledding and snowmobiling await you in the nearby mountains. You could spend several days in Sedona exploring hidden canyons and enjoying red rock trails - or visiting the area’s sacred sites or vortexes.

Flagstaff sits at the edge of two Native American reservations. This geographical location provides a wonderful opportunity to take advantage of the Native American arts and crafts that are available. Historic downtown Flagstaff has several stores dedicated to these wonderful crafts from jewelry, artwork, crafts, baskets, music and apparel.

Flagstaff’s combination of altitude, low humidity, and terrain provide mild weather conditions and clear air throughout the year. At 7,000 feet elevation, located in a refreshing ponderosa pine forest, Flagstaff is considered a high desert region. However, ecosystems spanning piñon-juniper studded plateaus, high desert, green alpine forest and barren tundra can all be found within the Flagstaff area.
