Nationwide Tour Victories (2) 2008: Preferred Health Systems Wichita Open 2008: Northeast Pennsylvania Classic Career Highlights/Notable Achievements 2008: Won the “Ultimate Game” in Las Vegas. Shooting five under on the back nine to overcome a three shot deficit and win by two. Resulted in a $2million win. Had no status entering the 2008 season. Through Monday qualifiers, he played his way into Nationwide Tour events. Ultimately, winning twice and finishing second once, guaranteeing himself a place on the 2009 PGA Tour. His victories came in style. He earned his maiden Nationwide Tour victory in Wichita with tournament record, 22-under 262. Also set 36-hole (126, 16-under) and 54-hole (191, 22-under) tournament records. He then won for the second time in three weeks, at the Northeast Pennsylvania Classic, coming from four strokes back to win by two on the strength of a final-round 64. Shot a course record 61 in the final round of the Boise Open to finish second and move him to third on the money list.

Shane Albert Doan is a Canadian professional ice hockey forward and team captain for the Phoenix Coyotes of the National Hockey League (NHL). Doan is the longest tenured player on the club, having played all twelve of his NHL seasons with the Winnipeg Jets/Phoenix Coyotes franchise. He is also the last remaining Coyote to have played for the Jets. Competing internationally for Team Canada, he has won two gold medals and two silvers at the World Championships, as well as one World Cup championship in 2004. He was also a member of Canada's 2006 Winter Olympic team.
