The People vs. The Pros Championship

Markers enjoyed being a sponsor at the 2007 People vs. The Pros Championship Golf Event, November 29 - December 4, 2007. The People vs. Pros is a unique tournament that featured amateur golfers competing against professionals from the PGA and Champions Tours. "We are pleased that Los Cabos will be our home for the next three events," says Andy Batkin, CEO of Innovative Media Solutions which produces People vs. Pros. "Los Cabos offers the perfect blend of exhilarating sporting events and luxury vacations." On December 4, 2007, the amateur champions played an 18-hole match against Chris DiMarco representing the PGA TOUR and Tom Watson representing the Champions Tour. "As Mexico's premier golf destination we are honored to host this unique tournament," says Alberto Coppola, President of the Los Cabos Tourism Board.
